About Me!

Hi everyone! My name is Morgan Liotta and I am from West Palm Beach, Florida. I am a third-year public relations major with a focus on purpose-based/corporate social responsibility at the University of Florida.

I love to volunteer and help others and I am currently doing this by participating in Dance Marathon here at the University of Florida. Through this, I have seen my passions continue to grow in wanting to give back to my community. Purpose-based public relations will allow me to work with companies to shift the focus from being only profit-centric to also having a focus on things like volunteering, giving back to the community, becoming a more diverse and inclusive company, and/or making products more sustainable.

While at the University of Florida one of my main academic goals is to explore classes that will help me further my career interests.  Being that there is no specialization in purpose-based public relations and wanting to work specifically in this field I need to continue to find and take classes that will support this interest.

Talking about goals in general my career goals are my most ambitious ones. My main goal is to be able to work for a company in the purpose-based public relations section of their company. Working to help my community, improving the environment, and creating a workplace suitable for all are all passions that I want to pursue in my future career path.
